Preferred file formats

PDF (preferred format)

PDF’s should:

• Include 3mm bleed
• Be CMYK format
• Have fonts embedded
• Have a minimum resolution of 300dpi
• Include offset crop marks

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Illustrator

Adobe InDesign

QuarkXPress

Files supplied using the above applications should:

• Include 3mm bleed
• Be CMYK format
• Include all fonts associated with the job or have fonts embedded within the file itself
• Have a minimum resolution of 300dpi
• Include offset crop marks

Microsoft Word

Files supplied using Microsoft Word will be accepted but due to the nature of the programmes a High Resolution PDF would be preferable and more secure. Otherwise please include a hard copy to check fonts and layout. There will be a charge to process word files.

Microsoft Excel is the preferred application for data files.
